I see a book I want to read in the library catalog but under location it says: On Shelf (library use only) Fort Lewis SW Center Books. What does this mean?
Answer
The Fort Lewis SW Center is also known as The Center of Southwest Studies (CSWS) where the Delaney Library and the Archives are located. Materials cannot be checked out from Delaney Library.
The CSWS is open to the students, faculty and staff of Fort Lewis College as well as visiting researchers and the general public. You can use the tab "Plan Your Visit" tab at the top of their webpage or this link https://swcenter.fortlewis.edu/plan-your-visit/appointments to plan your visit.
